ASEAN-IPR Discussion Series 2021, Session 6: "Peace Processes beyond the region: sharing of best practices & lessons learned"

In conjunction with the ASEAN-IPR’s 9th anniversary, the Institute convened the 6th Session of the Discussion Series 2021 on 18 November. With the theme “peace processes beyond the region,” the session aptly brought figures from the UN as well as regional organisations, such as the OSCE, OAS, and the African Union, further deepening the Institute’s engagement with like-minded institutions.

Throughout the session, the speakers highlighted lessons learned on their respective organisation’s role in facilitating peace-building and the resolution of conflicts within their respective region/jurisdiction. With the spirit strengthening engagement and partnership with like-minded Institutions, this Discussion brought together almost 200 participants.
