ASEAN-IPR Discussion Series 2023, Session 2:

General

This Discussion Series was convened in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Jakarta, to commemorate the International Day of Peace. The discussions centered on developing a National Action Plan (NAP) on Youth, Peace, and Security, which aims to foster peace and security among youth in society. Following the Discussion Series, an interactive session in the form of a youth consultation simulation was conducted – where youth participants were given space to share their thoughts on how they could contribute recommendations or solutions to several themes related to youth issues and peacebuilding.
