This event was the last part of the ASEAN-IPR Discussion Series in 2020. The theme of the discussion aimed to explore how dialogues can foster understanding, tolerance, and even embrace diversity amongst different groups in the framework of building sustainable peace. Held on 12 September 2020 through the Webinar platform and the Institute’s YouTube Channel, the discussion emphasised that dialogue could be transformative, as it could gather diverse actors and engage in collective decision-making processes. The discussions also underlined the key role of women and youth groups in creating a more sustainable peace.
