This publication is the outcome of the ASEAN-IPR Research Project: Aceh Case – Peacebuilding and Post-Tsunami Recovery – ASEAN-IPR’s 2nd research project, spearheaded by Indonesia. The research used a triple nexus as framework – examining interrelation between peace, humanitarian aide and development. The research analysed the implementation and distribution of humanitarian assistance such as health, education, economic empowerment and institutional strengthening of peacebuilding and post-tsunami recovery in Aceh, Indonesia. The research project and its outcome publication were supported by Japan under the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
