ASEAN-IPR Regional Study on Youth, Peace and Security (YPS)
The ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation (ASEAN-IPR) is proud to officially launch the Regional Study on Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) in ASEAN.
This milestone publication takes an in-depth look at the contributions of youth as agents of peace, stability, and development in the region. It presents a comprehensive assessment of current initiatives, challenges faced by youth, and opportunities that can be leveraged to strengthen the YPS Agenda in ASEAN.
By highlighting key findings, insights, and actionable recommendations, the Study aims to inspire Member States, regional organisations, and youth networks to work together in fostering inclusive peacebuilding efforts and ensuring that youth’s voices are placed at the heart of peace and security in ASEAN.
